HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Amberfield Forge Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Omaha with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service complaints. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
