HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Ironwood Maple Staffing is a New Orleans staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client orders. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with client orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
