HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Ironwood Fern Freight is a San Antonio logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 401 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on dock schedules. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
