HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Amberfield Quarry Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Milwaukee. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on usage data. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
