HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Cedar Rook Community Partners runs community programmes across Indianapolis, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer shifts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
