HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar North Insurance and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on policy renewals. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
