HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Clear Energy and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on usage data. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
