HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Fernwood North Community Partners is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for volunteer shifts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 216 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer shifts. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
