HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Northwind Cobalt Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Charleston region. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 65 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
