HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Westbrook Meadow Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Austin area, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on water quality. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
