HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Fernwood Thistle Insurance is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 213 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer complaints. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
