HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Kestrel Property Management and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident events. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with resident events. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in San Antonio. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
