HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Northwind Cross Facilities is a facilities company in Salt Lake City with crews on day and night shifts, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on work orders. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
