HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Mill Transit Planning and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on route schedules. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
