HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Northwind Timber Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Anchorage, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Families are partners. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on attendance records. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
