HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Northwind Orchard Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Detroit, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on licensing. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
