HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Ironwood Partners designs and makes medical devices in Knoxville. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on clinical evaluations. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
