HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Bright Vale Markets is a St. Louis retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on supplier deliveries. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
