HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Cedar Sparrow Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Nashville with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on landfill records. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
