HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Lumen North Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Omaha region, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on subcontractor invoices. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
