HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Fernwood Lantern Manufacturing Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
