HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Silverline Harbor Freight Partners coordinates shipments and warehousing around Oakland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on proof of delivery. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
