HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Nova Rook Community Partners is a Little Rock charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer shifts. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Little Rock. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
