HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Harborlight Mill Arts Center Partners is an arts centre in Minneapolis with a full calendar of events. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer programmes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
