HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Nova Wilder Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Omaha. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on repair requests. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with repair requests. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
