HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Nova Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Charleston, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on premium billing. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
