HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Ironwood Fern Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Omaha, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
