HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Cedar Field Markets Partners operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Portland, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on promotions. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
