HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Cedar Birch Energy is an energy provider in Miami focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 74 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage response. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
