HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Summit Ashton Foods produces packaged foods at its Oakland plant, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on allergen controls. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
