HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Northwind Timber Press is a printer and publisher in Chicago serving local and national clients, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on bindery work. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
