HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Providence, RI)

Nova Quarry Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Providence with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Providence. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service complaints. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
