HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Providence, RI)

Fernwood Summit Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Providence. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on policy renewals. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
