HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Providence, RI)

Harborlight Meridian Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Providence presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 72 people based in Providence. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on school partnerships. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with school partnerships. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
