HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Portland, OR)

Westbrook Forge Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Portland. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
