HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Pittsburgh, PA)

Ironwood Fern Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Pittsburgh design routes and schedules. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on route schedules. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
