HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Phoenix, AZ)

Cedar Field Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Phoenix and nearby communities, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on capital projects. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
