HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Omaha, NE)

Summit Iron Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Omaha, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 405 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer complaints. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
