HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Omaha, NE)

Lumen Pine Community Partners is a Omaha charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food distribution. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
