HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Oakland, CA)

Silverline Works is an arts centre in Oakland with a full calendar of events. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 977 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on event logistics. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with event logistics. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
