HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Juniper Health Group is a healthcare provider in Oakland with clinics and support teams, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on insurance authorisations. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with insurance authorisations. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
