HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Haven Early Learning and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tuition and subsidies. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with tuition and subsidies. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
