HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Oakland, CA)

Harborlight Keystone Transit Planning is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for fare systems, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fare systems. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
