HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Oakland, CA)

Highbridge Mill Civic Services works with county and city offices around Oakland. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on budget submissions. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
