HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (New Orleans, LA)

Fernwood Juniper Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across New Orleans, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 185 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field inspections. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with field inspections. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
