HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (New Orleans, LA)

Summit Amber Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in New Orleans. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on underwriting files. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
