HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (New Orleans, LA)

Nova Haven Insurance Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 316 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on catastrophe response. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
