HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Orchard Arts Center is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 757 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on visitor services. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
