HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (New Orleans, LA)

Summit Harbor Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in New Orleans with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 729 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on fleet maintenance. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with fleet maintenance. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
