HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Basin Energy delivers power and gas plans across the New Orleans region. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of about 558 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service connections. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
